Rockefeller Center

As we walked from Times Square up 6th Avenue we happened to pass by FOX News. My Dad is a big fan so we had to stop for a picture and wave to the commentators. I even had to call my Dad to see if he could guess where I was in NYC. The boys thought it was pretty cool to see TV happening live.
Then we had to stop by the over-sized Christmas tree lights.
And up the street we had a view of Radio City Hall. In NYC it seems at every corner you see a familiar place or name that you've heard about but never seen.
Finally we made it to Rockefeller Center. The tree was beautiful but my goodness there were a lot of people. It was hard to go anywhere, and by the time we made it over to the ice skating rink the zambonie was out so we couldn't even see the skaters. Jack admired the Lego store across the way. The energy was incredible and everyone was having fun just being in the heart of NYC at Christmas.
The view of the tree. Mack was fast asleep in the stroller. (on the east coast they call a stroller a carriage- still not use to it)
Finally we made the long walk back to the van - 12 blocks. We got to see the Empire State Building all lit up. And we just happened to come across the best little pizza shop. There weren't a ton of people and the food was cheap and delicious.
I tried to get a picture of the skyline at night on our way out of the Lincoln Tunnel, but it didn't happen. You'll just have to take my word for it that the skyline of NYC at night is INCREDIBLE!
