Lots of pictures folks, stay with me.
Friday we had a Cars 2 birthday party for Mack. We had pizza, cupcake decorating, games, and opening of presents. Mack was as happy as could be and loved that it was his birthday.

Benny blue eyes.
Ry came home for lunch at just the right time to light the birthday candle and watch all the hoopla.
Mack was so excited about that candle.
He wouldn't take off the beanie.
Then we played a game of pin the smile on the car. Gotta love that tongue concentration.
Me and Jack drew the car.
Everyone, of course, has to get their hands on those presents. Its the best part of the party for sure.
Captain America - one of his favorite gifts. He even had to wear it to bed that night.
Me and my boys. If I look worn out and tired . . . its because I was. But its so worth it when you make your kid happy.
Saturday was my big day. My friend Emily babysat the kids while Ry and I made our first trip/date into New York City. I had fun taking lots of pictures. Our first stop was the LDS temple in downtown NYC. I love how you can be sitting in the temple and not hear a single noise from outside. It was so wonderful to be there with my man after a long time of not getting to go together.
I had lots of fun taking city pictures . . even if the trees had no leaves - it gave it a cool winter look, even though it was a sunny 59 degrees outside. Ryan and I have planned that next trip into the city we'll take our boys' scooters and ride them around town. (Makes me think of the movie Little Manhattan)
Just a few blocks from the temple is the beautiful Central Park. Thousands were out enjoying the weather and we saw lots of runners and bikers.
In Central Park there are a lot of awesome city views and the bridges are beautiful too.
I had requested that we walk to the famous castle and the views were spectacular.
Like this one. Off in the distance is the MET where we made our next stop.
So romantic.
