Yes, I am outnumbered over here . . . in every way you can think of. I totally try to keep control of the situation, but seriously - its near impossible.
Take the kitchen for example . . .

Do you see a place in there for me? And there is one missing. Don't get me wrong I love my boys help at dinner and we have a blast together, but I totally feel outnumbered (and crowded). I wish they would crowd in around me when I am trying to clean up a mess or put laundry away but usually they are MIA (missing in action).
And don't even get me started on how they crowd in our bed, right between Ryan and I, but that part I don't mind too much. Ry and I always dreamed of when we would have a bunch of little bodies crowded in our bed between us.
Luckily we are making progress and that is definitely where I try to keep my focus - in the areas I am winning.
We have finally defeated the potty issues with Mack.
He is officially potty trained (at least for the time being.)
Ben is on his 45th day of being pacifier free, except for last Sunday when I hid it in my skirt pocket and pulled it out when he was squawking away in the middle of Sacrament Meeting. It did mean I got to actually enjoy the meeting which was totally worth it.
These are the little things that keep me going and give me hope that I am in control and that I do have the power to succeed. Cause seriously, there are some days I feel like a pawn being controlled by 4 little sets of hands - beautiful hands that is.
How I love these warriors. How I love their constant impact and influence in my life. How I love their laughter and smiles - even if they have control of the house most of the time. (Maybe that is why they are laughing and smiling all the time, they know they are winning.)
Love this life of mine.
